Zoo Day!

Today we all went to the zoo. It was a little warm so we only stayed about two hours if that. I'm sure there will be many more trips to come this summer!

Easter 2009

Here are some of the pics from Easter 2009. We went to an egg hunt at Shadow lake in McCalla on Saturday and we were planning on attending church on Sunday morning but Brooks woke up with a 102 degree fever so we didn't end up going. He thought the Easter bunny was interesting at first and then he decided he didn't like her very much! It was hilarious!

Spring Break, '09...

I made a last minute decision to go to Orange Beach with my parents, sister and her boyfriend. Chris had to work so he couldn't go this time. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather! For those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE the beach. I would seriously consider moving there if we knew we would have jobs, etc., but I don't think my son shares my love for the beach yet! He hated the sand. Everytime I tried to set him down to play, he screamed and tried to draw his legs up. It was funny and pitiful all at the same time! Poor little guy! Needless to say we are re-thinking our vacation plans for this summer. It may turn into an all adult trip!

One Year Portrait..

We went a few weeks ago to get Brooks' one year portrait made with The Blink Lady. She did a great job and there were so many good pics. I wanted all of them but here are a few.

No internet!

Just let everyone know, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. We did get settled into the new house last Sunday and it has been crazy! We are still waiting on internet installation so if you need us just call!!! Hopefully I'll be back to blogging with pics soon. Also, Brooks is scheduled to see the pediatric plastic surgeon on March 12th for a consultation to remove the cyst on his face. Please keep us in your thougts and prayers. Even though the doctor's keep telling us that it is nothing serious we are still worried because the fact is that it is a still a surgery and that he has to be put to sleep for. Hopefully everything will go well with no complications.

Brooks 1st Birthday!

It's hard to believe that Brooks is a year old. It seems like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. It has been a hard but great year. Chris and I have learned a lot as new parents and now I really appreciate everything my parents did for me! Well here are a few pics from the party.
